IRWIN LEVINE Obituary
died on September 5 after a prolonged illness at the age of 91. He died peacefully at his home in Lakeville, CT surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of 54 years of Francine, cherished father to Susan, Karen and her partner David, and the late Lori, doting grandfather of Auden - the joys of his life. A loving brother to Charles, a devoted son to the late Sadie and Jack, dear uncle to Ann, Robin, Dan and Jess, and friend of many. Irwin practiced medicine for many years on Long Island. Irwin will be remembered for his gentleness, attentiveness, and kindness. His caring and intelligence will be a greatly felt absence in our lives. He lived a well-rounded life. His family is very grateful for the dedication of caregivers, Mitzie and Cecilia. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 12 at 11am in the chapel of Temple Israel Cemetery, 388 Saw Mill River Rd., Hastings-on-Hudson, NY 10706. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Parkinson Foundation.

I was so sorry to read of Irwin's passing. It has been years since I have seen Irwin and Fran but I have such fond memories of our past working relationship. Irwin was a kind and sweet man and Fran my heart goes out to you and your family. I know he was loved.
