SCHNEIDERMAN--Irwin. We mourn with profound sadness the passing of Irv Schneiderman, beloved past President, Co-Chairman, Chairman and Board Member of New York City Opera. Through his visionary leadership and unwavering championship of the Company, Irv gave generously of his time, insights, and resources for nearly three decades. Together with his adored wife Roberta, Irv ranks among City Opera's most historically generous and thoughtful donors. He was much loved by all who were fortunate enough to know and work with him. We are comforted that Irv's legacy will endure through the impact of his altruism and his love of music, and we will miss him forever.
