Dr.Horowitz, was one of a kind truly caring and dedicated. About 10 years ago my mother Jennie became a patient of his she lived in Astoria Queens. She had so many serious problems
including kidney failure with his care, encouragement and a miracle she came off of dialysis after a year and a half and is still off dialysis 8 years later. I truly miss speaking to him because he always educated me about blood results and common sense about medicine. We use to talk sports as well. Occasionally, I would bring a bottle of wine to him and he said that his wife would use it for cooking. Rest well my friend you are truly missed. Michael Gazza

Dr Horowitz was all that a human being should be. A brilliant doctor with a unique sense of humor, patience and great empathy. His love of the violin gave me a special connection with him. I feel like I lost a dear friend.I want to express my simpathy to his family.

dr. isadore horowitz was our family physician for over 30 years. we travelled from brooklyn to great neck to see him. he was always there for us, giving me strength and support in my dad's final days. i will miss him and his office staff terribly.

i am so shocked and saddened to hear about the loss of dr. isadore horowitz. he was my doctor since 1984. his wisdom and kindness will never be forgotten. it will be impossible to replace him. my sincere condolences to his family.

Dr. Horowitz had taken care of my family for over 40 years. First my parents, then my brither and myself. What a wonderful human being he was as well as an excellent doctor. I am so saddened by this new. My condolencesto his family. I will miss him very much!

Dr. Horowitz will always be to me everything he embodied in the time I knew him.... An extremely brilliant man and doctor with compassion and care that went above and beyond what many people today will see in a lifetime. His dedication will, sadly, never or rarely, be seen again in medicine as we know it, especially today. Dr. Horowitz took time to listen and contemplate which is critical in the field of medicine. He was always there for all of his patients. I am sad personally and for his family which he talked about in great detail. The world has suffered a great loss!! My condolences. Jen
