A true gentleman and scholar in addition to being a fellow Hoo. He was wonderful to work with, so patient and intelligent yet extremely humble. He truly cared about helping others solve business issues, to get the job done and it was never about the accolades. He was quick with a laugh and had a wry sense of humor. Truly a good man and a great human being. May he Rest in Peace.

We were shocked and saddened to read of Jims passing in the New York Times. We had just exchanged Christmas cards in fact, Jims card was the same as our own. I've known Jim for more than fifty years. We have traveled to England to celebrate a mutual friends fifth birthday together. We have celebrated many holidays together particularly Easter . He was always funny and lots of fun to be around. We extend our deeps condolences to his nieces and nephews.
