JAMES KONKEL

KONKEL--James I. James I. Konkel, aged 89, passed away on May 10, 2025, in Brooklyn, NY. Born on February 20, 1936, James was a lifelong Brooklyn resident, known for his sharp wit and generous spirit. He graduated from St. Augustine High School and later earned a degree from St. Francis College. Jim dedicated over 40 years to a distinguished career at Deloitte, where he rose to the rank of Partner. His professional achievements were matched by his commitment to his community and his faith, as he was a devoted member of St. Francis Xavier Church. Jim will reunite with his beloved wife, Ronnie, as well as his siblings, Gloria, Joan, and Charlie. He survived by his nephews Ralph, David and Jeff and nieces Judi and Jeannie. Jim was laid to rest on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn surrounded by friends and family. May he rest in eternal peace.
