Dear Family of James Monaco,
In honor of your father, husband, grandpa and oncle I edited the Wikipedia entry to let the world know that a famous student award has been named since 2001 after Mr. Monaco. All the best.

Dear Susan Monaco and family!

I was shocked hearing that Jim left the planet. Launching Baseline were some of the most creative days of my life. He will be missed yet his light will forever shine!

Warm Regards,
Sharron L. Cannon

I am deeply saddened. I knew Jim briefly and many years ago, but when I was a young, shy, awkward college student at CCNY Jim and Susan invited me to their home, fed me and made me feel welcome. He was a fine man and I'm glad to have known him.

Deepest sympathies. James was truly one of a kind... so multi-talented, so creative and smart. "Polymath" indeed. I can just hear his indelible laugh in my head right now. So very sorry for your loss.
