It's been six years since my last comment and Jim is still in my thoughts anytime I pass through Boulder CO. I wish we could sit down one more time over a great meal and drink and have a last intellectual conversation. =:0)

Jim Spring made me the man I am today. I worked for him three times in my career. I was there pretty much at the beginning of SMART. We could argue and yell and scream but I never respected any man more. A true genious that could see the future. For anyone that new him you can never forget his belly laugh or his stinging wit.

Jim was a special man - he was devoted to developing information and insights that could help his friends and clients. I found him to be very generous with his knowledge and proprietary information to this end. His sense of humor and ability to look at the lighter side of any issue brought many laughs. The ski industry will long remember his contributions.
