ENGEL--Jean Louise, a native New Yorker, born November 24, 1927 died peacefully at home on April 25, 2022. An eccentric free Spirit, Jean loved life and lived life to the fullest. She brought a feisty and generous spirit to all she touched and she touched the hearts of many. One of a kind, she will be sorely missed. Fly Free Beloved.

I knew Jeanie before and during world War II in Manhattan. We were a fun bunch of teens who went dancing and dating together in New Rochelle! She knew Morty Engel, ( no relation) . Great memories!
