JOHN CROW

CROW--John French, M.D. John French Crow, M.D., 82, passed away peacefully on November 4 in New York City. Born in Washington, D.C., and raised in Rockdale, Texas, Dr. Crow devoted more than half a century to the practice of psychiatry and psychoanalysis. A longtime member of the New York Psychoanalytic Society and Institute, he was respected for his clinical insight, intellectual rigor, and dedication to his patients and colleagues. He is survived by his wife, Wendy Olesker; his children, Charlotte, David, and William; and grandchildren, Jack, Henry, and Kate. He is also survived by his siblings, Jim and Jane. Outside his professional life, John was an ardent fan of the New York Giants, following the team with the same passion that marked his life and work. A private memorial service will be held in New York City.
