Not sure what to say?

It's been a while since John and I communicated over "messenger". His passing makes me sad. I will always remember him as an upstanding, smart, courteous, sometimes mischievous, friend. Condolences and to his family. I hope you find comfort in knowing how much John was respected.

Single Memorial Tree

Remember playing sandlot baseball on the vacant lot between the Voscamp and Wirtz houses on San Jacinto Street. Also convincing a neighborhood friend to go get money from his mother, go to Beutow's fireworks stand and buy firecrackers, and then come back and sell them to John and me for less than he paid.

John Crow and I are the same age and worked together years back. He was a really fine psychiatrist and a lovely colleague/friend. My thoughts to his family on their loss. Sue Matorin ACSW SW Faculty Weill Cornell Psychiatry

Group of 10 Memorial Trees

John and I were children of Alcoa employees who went to school together in Rockdale, Texas. John was always an outstanding student. He received the Alcoa scholarship upon graduation from Rockdale High where he was, I believe, our class valedictorian. May those who knew him be comforted by their memories.
