JOHN ROLLINSON Obituary

ROLLINSON-- John Thomas, July 24, 1938 - February 21, 2022. To the world he was an Army Intelligence Officer (Bronze Star); preacher of the Gospel (Episcopal, Clovis, NM); husband (Dr. Shirley); bridge expert (Ruby Life Master); brother (George); hymn-composer; piano, organ, and euphonium player (plus bassoon); uncle (John Edward and Andrew); linguist ("fluent in five"); great-uncle (Gabriel, others); Richard Wagner nut; world traveler; hearty laugher; educator; train devotee; shoe, sock, and stamp collector; grace-sayer; puddle-splasher. To me he was "Tom the Inimitable" (of Rutherford, NJ) for 65 years and the fiercest of competitors across a cribbage board. AfflyJef
