We can never forget this great guy, John Ward. He did so much to help his fellow people. Camp Mark Seven would not have succeeded so much without John. It is hard to believe that ten years have already come and gone. May John continue to Rest In Peace with God. May God continue to protect Mary Beth and her children and grandchildren. Uncle Jackie was the best. He was my only real Uncle, and I was a very lucky kid for that. There are too many fun memories to list. Our thoughts and prayers are with you guys.
Sincerely,
Rory

Jack was a wonderful person who was so generous to his family and enjoyed good times. I'm glad I shared laughs with him in the California Room parties and at family gatherings. My condolences to Mary Beth, Gen, Martine, Sarah and other members of Jack's immediate family. Jack will surely rest in peace in the Adirondacks and Chestertown. He'll be missed by all who knew and loved him. Again, my heartfelt sympathies to all the Wards.

Our dearest Jack Ward made such signficant contributions to the Mark Seven Deaf Foundation over the past 25 years, and we had the honor of his presence at the recent board meeting in early August at the camp- it is our ultimate goal to realize his dream of establishing a year-round facility on the Camp Mark Seven campus in memory of him and Bertha Coughlin. May God bless his soul always, and comfort his family during this difficult time. Jack and the Ward family, we are with you in thoughts and prayers.

Although we only met Jack once, we know how close he was to Gen, Martine and DeeDee. He was a blessing and source of hope, comfort, support and strength to their lives. We know he meant the world to them and that they adored and treasured him. It was our son, York's, great privilege, honor and pleasure to have known Jack for a short time. He was a fine man who was held in highest regard by many and he will be terribly missed. To the Ward family, Gen, Martine, and DeeDee, we send our deepest sympathy with thoughts and prayers for comfort and peace during this sad and sorrowful time in your lives.
With deepest, heart-felt love to all,
Rissie and Tommy Bryant

Dear Ward Family,
Even though I have know Jack for only two years in my capacity as an Executive Director of Mark Seven Deaf Foundation, Inc., I have come to admire this great man. He will be missed by the Camp Mark Deaf family. May God give you His comfort and peace.

A good hearted person, Jack will be sorely missed by millions of New Yorkers who will enjoy the vision of his grandfather with the perputity of Mayor Bloomberg's "Coney Island Plan". Jack was an ardent supporter of the plan and worked tirelessly to insure its implementation. God Bless and keep you. Chris McGratty.

Dear Mary Beth, John, Faith and Kathleen: it is with profound sorrow that I learned of the departure of your beloved husband and father, Jack. Needless to say I felt stunned and saddened by this tremendous loss. Little did I realize that it would be the last time I saw your dad few weeks ago. I have nothing but a profound esteem and admiration for such a great man like Jack. I know he is at peace with God and someday we will be with him in eternal Adirondacks. My prayers, love and thoughts are with you at this difficult time. Have courage and place all your trust and sorrow in God who will give you His grace of comfort and peace. Love and prayers from Fr. Tom Coughlin
