I've enjoyed working with Jonas for many years in coordinating materials here in the MSU Library for his many James Madison students. I shall miss his cheerful voice and attitude. My sympathies go out to his family.

Professor Zoninsein didn't just teach international relations and economics, but also taught through his own example how to be a kind and sincere human being. His teaching, in both regards, has stuck with me.

I'm extremely saddened by the death of one of my favorite college teachers. It is with tears in my eyes that I recall our many conversations in his office. I'm grateful that he challenged me to think about the serious political and global economic issues of the day. May his memory be for blessings.

He was a wonderful professor and person. I will always remember him as a very engaging, thoughtful, and caring individual.
