I was saddened to learn of your father's passing. Last year I saw him in the lobby of 201. He was as vibrant as ever, wearing a smile, having kind words to say. May his memory be a blessing.

My grandfather was an amazing man. Nothing inspires me more than his bravery, strength and resilience. From coming to the US at 18 years old, to fighting in the Korean War, to building a life for himself and creating an amazing family that I am so lucky to be a part of. He was the epitome of everything that somebody should strive to be. The love that he had for his family and his wife was beyond special . I have never seen 2 people have more respect or love for one another than Joseph and Mary de Franca. I will miss the never ending stories, the contagious laugh and smile, the long walks durning quarantine and the encouragement. There will not be a day that goes by without me thinking and honoring your amazing legacy. I Love you forever Poppy. Love, Hudson
