8 years, it seems like yesterday and an eternity. I love you forever, and will always be so grateful and proud to be your daughter by choice. You are still guiding me with your profound integrity and generous heart. I hear you in my head at ethical forks in the road. I miss you more than words can express. Hope you are in paradise. You deserve the best of everything. Please look out for all of us. I love you to the moon and back.

He was the greatest physician I have ever had the privilege to be a patient of. Dr. Drefus was so humane and brilliant at diagnosis and healing. I miss him terribly everyday. He gave new life to me after a near tragic acident, and for his knowledge and caring, I will be forever grateful.
