Jules Baron Obituary
Jules Malvin Baron born in New York City on Oct. 1, 1921, passed peacefully at home in Pittsboro, NC on April 6, 2018.
Jules loved life. His joy was felt by those around him who were touched by his ever present smile, sense of humor, optimism, wisdom, pride and compassion for others. The love Jules had for his family was constant and he was grateful for his friends and the caring staff at Galloway Ridge.
Jules served as a Translator with the US Army in WW II.
He was an accomplished Attorney and Harvard Law School graduate. He co-founded the AIMS Group and was a pioneer in his time providing financial planning services to corporate executives. After selling the Company to Aetna, Jules became a partner at the Brauner, Baron, Rosenzweig & Klein, LLP law firm and served on the Board of Trustees for The Herman Goldman Foundation.
As a passionate Democrat and Volunteer, Jules endeavored to make the world a better place. In later years, he worked with Habitat For Humanity and Chatham County organizations, helping disadvantaged youth learn to read.
He enjoyed painting, drawing and was active in the Community choir.
A loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend, Jules Baron will be dearly missed and always remembered.
He is survived by his Daughters, Dale, Amy and Jennifer, Grandsons, Harrison, David, Parker, Ben and Evan, Sons In Law, Paul, Bill and Gary, as well as Sister Francine, Sister In Law Pauline and his many nieces and nephews.
