Karen was a wonderful friend and neighbor when we became parents of our firstborn, Lydia. Playground mornings and afternoons together in the playgrounds of Riverside Park provided time for much sharing of ideas and ideals of family, child-rearing and education. Karen was always a well-informed listener and speaker. We send most sincere sympathy to Weston, Nick, and Tyler. Yours is truly a great loss.
