I´m so sorry for your loss Linda.
I loved engaging in intellectually stimulating conversations with Larry on the Beach Club deck. He was such an insightful, empathetic person, who had a considered, thoughtful take on so many global and personal topics. He was such a Renaissance man and devoted to his family. Hugs. Rita Cary.

Larry and I worked together for the U.S, Department of the Treasury while based in Budapest, Hungary. He and I shared many a lunch when our spouses were stateside, along with the occasional concert in St. Steven's Basilica. My wife, Mary Lee, and I believe that he and Linda must have entertained about half of the 62 house guests we had in Budapest during our four years there. A friend, excellent and knowledgeable colleague, and someone with a good fix on the world. Fond memories from years past. Linda, we still have a house full of Hungarian art! Our condolences. When I was credit union Supevisor for the State of Illinois, Larry was pivotal in my appointment as the state repesentative to the FFIEC. Later Larry became a longtime trustee for the Trust of Credit Unions family of mutal funds for the cooperative indusry. Larry was always positive and supportive in his relationships.

Dear Linda,
I am so sorry and sad to learn of Larry's passing. He was the best mentor that I ever had. As the very young President of the brand new National Consumer Cooperative Bank, Larry's wisdom and guidance as our Chairman was greatly needed and appreciated. There are so many things that I do today that I learned from Larry.
Sheila and I are very happy that we got to spend some time with you and Larry at your home and Club and will never forget our visit. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and to Larry's family and Larry will always be remembered in my prayers.
