LEE SLAUGHTER Obituary

SLAUGHTER--Lee,

passed away peacefully on October 21, 2018. Lee was the beloved wife of the late James C. Slaughter. Lee is survived by her nephews, William Slaughter, Charles Slaughter, and Robert J. Slaughter, as well as her grandnieces and nephews, Sam, Joe, Willa, Hannah, Nell, Jake, Ben, Cooper, Riley, and Jackson. She held a lifelong passion for music and dance expressed through her long time support for the Mannes College of Music, The Metropolitan Opera, and the School of American Ballet. At her request, there will not be a memorial service

Condolences to all the family; I will never forget how supportive she was when we first moved to the USA; She was a superb fashion consultant and seeing her work the Paris textile shows was always fun. May she rest in peace. We miss her late husband James (Jimmy) every day.

I shall miss Lee, and her amazing friendship and kindness to me, as well as her late husband, Jim, too - a mentor and wonderful teacher- both of them. My sincere sympathy to Bill and the family.
