I was immediately smitten Lelly's dazzling frost-lipsticked smile when she first appeared as a junior at Friends Academy in Locust Valley NY. She was friendly and smart (especially so as my lab partner). It was wonderful to see her again at our 40th reunion and I am now saddened to think she has been taken away as I was looking forward to seeing her at our 50th. Rest in peace, Lelly. Your life was an example to all.

Dear Tom, Francie, Martha, David and family..
We were so saddened to hear of the passing of Lel. I have so many fond memories of looking up to her and all the older kids Way back when at the BYC and our collective childhoods in Barnstable. Later, my father would Always remark as we rode past her house on the shudder’s lane shore in our boat of what pillar of strength bravery, positivity and character she was, raising her family and all the challenges that entailed. We are so sorry for your loss.
All the Segar’s send you all our love and condolences at such a hard time.
Thinking of Lel and you all.
Peace
