To Michael Elkisch -
I'm not sure if this email will reach you, or if you are even the same person I am trying to reach, but in the hope that you are, I hope you'll remember me from when we worked together on a matter or two of yours several years ago. I had read of your unfortunate loss in The New York Times, and simply wanted to reach out to express my condolences. Unfortunately, I have migrated from the computer on which I had had your email address, so I've had to search around the net a bit to see if I could find you. I hope I have. If this email does, indeed, reach you, please know how sorry I am for your recent loss.
Best regards,
e.
