MICHAELSON--Lorna, age 75 of Tampa Florida, formerly of NY died, Monday, January 26, 2015. Barnard graduate, class of 1960. Survived by her daughter, Maia Michaelson, son, Jay Michaelson and his partner, Paul Dakin all of New York. Although I only met Lorna at Jay and Paul's wedding, I knew immediately that she was a warm and delightful lady - and younger than I. She was actually older, but certainly younger in looks and personality. Jim and I send Jay our sympathy.

Lorna was a good friend. The operative word being friend. She was a person who would be there whenever you needed to talk, whenever you needed to have lunch or whenever you just needed to be quiet. She will be missed by so many. May she rest in peace.
