LOU STOLLAR Obituary

STOLLAR--Lou. President Joyce F. Brown, the Board of Trustees, and the Fashion Institute of Technology community express deep sorrow on the death of Professor Emeritus Lou Stollar, a key figure on campus for 50 years. As a teacher of psychology and president of FIT's union, the UCE of FIT, he left an extraordinary mark on the college. Under his leadership, FIT became one of the first colleges to have a collective bargaining agreement. Admired throughout the college, he was a friend to all who knew him. We mourn Lou's passing and remember with gratitude his remarkable achievements.
