My dear and warm cousin and my link to the Newhalls in Minneapolis,- this is sudden and sad news indeed. I honor your love for intentional decisions, made with intelligent discernment and passion. I will miss your humor and pragmatic statements and will especially miss seeing you on Madeline Island and being at Haven House. May you sleep peacefully and know of our love.

Margie was a devoted member of the Women's Bible Study group of Grace Church in New York. Her questioning insight, humor, honesty, humility, and generosity of spirit were loved by all. We will miss her deeply.

I was so sad to learn of Margie's death. She was a fantastic person...so smart and witty. Her brother Tom let me know yesterday, very sad!

Margie was one of the most treasured people in my life as my boss at Better Homes and Gardens, and a lifelong friend. I am going to miss our dinners in NY and her visits to my family and me in Minneapolis.
