When my family relocated to Armonk in 2015, Mrs. Gregg was among the first to welcome us to the area, and into St. Stephen's Church, where generations of her family had worshipped. It was a privilege to witness her leadership for the church's 175th anniversary, where she led an effort to magnificently refurbish the church, which is listed on the National Historic Registry. When Mrs. Gregg and Ambassador Gregg opened their centuries-old Mead Road farmhouse to us for a lovely meal with friends, she joyfully pointed an old childhood playhouse out back where a woodchuck had long resided. Mrs. Gregg was gracious, brilliant, clever, and a tireless public servant and friend. More than anything, she was an inspiration, and a reminder that with kindness, sincerity, and a compassionate sense of humor, any newcomer could be made to feel at home. May Ambassador Gregg be surrounded by all of the generosity and love Mrs. Gregg offered this world! Peace and love to the Gregg and Curry families!
