I think of Mary and all the O'Hara's quite often. The family was always nice to me growing up in Mount Vernon, NY, only about 6 houses from their family. I caddied for Mary around 1959 at Winged Foot GC. I would visit them over the years at their various homes. Best to all of her family and my old buddy Bill Jr.

Thanks for this posting I was reminded of my days in Mount Vernon, NY and the kindness of the O'Hara family. I had the pleasure of knowing the O'Hara's when I was eight years old, back in 1953. Wow, has time flown by. Now I am married almost 55 years. My friendship with that family was always something I will cherish!

I knew Mary from 1953, when I was a young boy in Mount Vernon, NY to her passing. I was a friend of their son Bill, and very close to her husband Bill Sr. They were exceedingly kind to me over the years when I was growing up. I lived a few houses from them in Mount Vernon, NY. Time really flies!

I am sorry to hear of Aunt Mary's passing. I have fond memories of our rendezvous with her and Uncle Billy, in Bermuda, when Rick and I were celebrating our 10th anniversary. Good times on the waterfront. She will remain forever in my prayers. She was my Godmother! She is at peace now, reunited with her loved ones who have passed before her. We have another angel watching over us. Love Patricia Rovis Schulz.

Dear Billy, Jane, Mary Anne, and John,
I am so sorry to learn of Mary's passing and disappointed I could not attend her funeral. The last time we saw each other was at my 80th birthday party at Winged Foot that Mary had arranged. It is such a wonderful memory of my big sister that I'll cherish always.
Love,
Patsy
