Holocaust survivor saved by Japanese diplomat Chiune Sugihara. Predeceased by the love of her life, Joseph L. Leon. Loving, devoted mother of Laura Leon (Marc Cohen z"l), Karen Leon, and Nina Leon (Michael Olney). Beloved grandmother of Michelle Cohen (Jesse), Susan Cohen (Jarrod) Steven Cohen (Jill), Rachel and Alexandra Olney. Proud great- grandmother of Rory and Julian. Funeral, Friday, April 7 at 9:45am, Plaza Jewish Community Chapel, Amsterdam Avenue at 91st Street, NYC. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Yiddish Book Center, Amherst, MA or YIVO.
