BECKELMAN-Melanie. Known professionally as Melanie Wygonik. Died March 8, 2005. Artist, writer, musician. Princeton '73, Pratt '75. Her intellect, her creative vision and her passion set her apart. She cared deeply for her family and her friends. We returned her love.

Mel! I will never forget our joyous dinner parties in that little cinderblock dorm room in Lourie-Love....your "harlot sauce" and pasta...the sherry and wine...the Stones on the record player and our "Maenad" (your word) dancing well into the night. You were a terrific, magnanimous friend and I will never forget your multi-faceted intelligence, creativity--and warmth. I will miss you and hold your memory dear to my heart always.
