Ed-I just learned that you had lost Micki. I am feeling such sympathy and empathy for you, having lost my Tim recently as well. She was such a bright light, and so central to your family. I remember her vivid conversations and laughter at our last gathering at YLS to hear Hillary speak. Nothing can take the pain and sadness away, but know that friends are with you. Pat Fry

Oh no! I am beyond saddened to learn just now of Micki’s passing. Our close friends on Fire Island just called. We rented her beautiful home there every August, for the last few years (except this one), and loved it so much. It’s warmth attracted us because of her many paintings and family photos. Micki and I developed a caring friendship and we would also frequently discuss politics.
I have been thinking of her so much in the last couple of months, during this quarantine, and now very much regret not calling her. I will forever be upset for this realization. When someone pops I to our minds we should reach out and not wait. I’m sorry for your loss.
I send our deepest condolences to her husband Ed, and to her entire family. I never met any of you but feel incredibly sad for you all. My heart is hurting.
May her memory be for a blessing.
With love,
Deborah, Neil and Siena Tauber

I will always remember Micki for her warmth and compassion. She was a wonderful listener and when you talked to her you could tell she was genuinely interested in hearing what you had to say. I also remember that no matter what the occasion was, Micki never missed a family event. I have such fond memories of Micki from both my childhood and my adult interactions with her. She was a truly special person and will be sorely missed by all who knew her. I am a better person for having had her in my life.

My deepest of condolences to the whole family. I met Micki through my good friend Marlyn Asbel and felt as if, I too, was a family member. Such a warm and giving heart. You will be missed!

Although I would only see Micki on summers on B street in Fire Island she always remembered EVERYTHING about our past , my life, my children. She always had a big smile and a large heart .

I just read the Obituary in the Miami Herald. I supervised Micki in Miami when she was training to become a psychologist. We both had roots in the Five Towns and bonded immediately. I am deeply saddened to learn of her passing.
