Dear Zoe, I'm so sorry! I received the news via our cousin. I wish I'd known long before how Mitch was faring! I would appreciate an email, if you would.

I got to know Mitch in my twenties, we had mutual friends in Elma and East Aurora that we would play tennis with etc. When I moved to NYC to work, I worked with an older woman who said to me one day "You need to meet my friend Mitchell Hedstrom". I laughed and said "I already know Mitchell". He will always be remembered fondly for his wit and charm. I know how much he would have cherished his family too, he will always be near you. My thoughts are with you.

I went to kindergarten with Mitchell and remember him fondly. We went to a school with only 2 classrooms. Please accept my deepest sympathy. I´m the third one on the right in the second row of the kindergarten picture. So glad he was so successful and had a loving family.

Mitch and I were in the same class at Elma Elementary. I have something I´d like to share with you...feel free to email me. In this picture of our kindergarten class, he is 5th from the left in the 2nd row. (I am on his left).
