I had a brief correspondence with Natalie after viewing the Ken Burns "Thomas Jefferson" documentary. I was amazed that a "Bober" was involved in something like that, and had to reach out as Bober is such an unusual surname - she was only the second Bober I had ever become acquainted with that I wasn't related to. We had a very nice conversation and exchanged a couple of emails discussing Bober genealogy. I am quite distressed at her passing - she was a wonderful conversation, and I would have really enjoyed having an opportunity to know her better. She seemed like quite a special lady, even though I only knew her from correspondence.
