I had a day in early 2000´s with Ned... golf at Glen Oaks and then we went in my wave runners in Cold Spring Harbor. We were having lots of fun jumping waves and decided to venture into Long Island Sound... being a close friend of Bob´s i felt responsible for Ned that day as I saw up jump in the air about 10 6-8 feet and then he disappeared into the abyss only to rise back up from under the water! What seemed like eternity , I was happy to see him resurface!!! To say he was a daredevil would be an understatement!! All ended well and still one of my fondest memories of my dear friend Ned... Missing you buddy... thinking about Lindsay and the girls!! In our hearts for ever!!! JJ

We are devastated by the loss of our friend Ned. Our hearts are breaking for his girls, Lindsay, Casey, Charlie and Betsy. He was loved, respected and honored by all. We cannot remember him without a smile on his face or a memory of someone in his heart. Rest in peace. We will never understand why such a good soul was taken all too soon. We will miss you buddy.

Ned. From the moment we heard, a piece of our hearts went missing. You were so full of life and love for your beautiful girls, Lindsay, Casey, Charlie and Betsy. There is no rhyme or reason to any of this and to say you will be missed is the understatement of all time. We will forever be at odds with your life being taken all too soon from so many. Rest in peace our friend
