I just learned of Nick's passing. He was a distant cousin but we connected at Brown and he was beloved by my fraternity as a party chaparone, a graduate student advisor, pool player and overall good friend. I had lost track of him over the years but the notice bring back many fond memories.

A sweet, friendly, energetic and relentlessly curious high school classmate; he brought brightness where he went. And, oh my, how wonderfully accomplished. RIP.
