I am shocked to read of the passing of a good friend who shared not only the same name as mine, but many of the same interests. Bombed out of lower Manhattan by 9/11, I moved from Tribeca as soon as I possibly could, and we lost touch. I never had a chance to say "good be for now dear friend," and I am very sad about that. Goodbye, dear friend! Rest In Peace!"

I remember movie nights at Pams. It always went with lots of libations, crazy talking and laughing. When eventually there was a lull Pam would start the movie, then after a while someone would have something clever to say and pandemonium ensued to the point where the movie had to be paused. This happened several times so eventually Pam announced a new rule that once the movie started and you wanted to say something you had to raise your hand and then she would monitor the situation. I forget if this idea ever worked but the point was that she loved the entertainment biz, respected the artist and their work, at the same time she loved her friends and was teasing us by trying to be strict knowing it was basically a lost case with the gang. Bottom line, you always had a good time a Pams. I miss those evenings and I miss Pam.

Thank you for such a touching and loving tribute to our dear friend, Pam. I can't believe she is gone and I will miss her forever. She was such a wonderful friend and person. My heart is broken.
