Rose and Betty (Mahon) Pat's first cousins in Ireland send deepest condolences to all of Pat's family. May he rest in eternal peace.
We have wonderful, vivid memories of Pat's stay in our home in Co. Leitrim around 1958. He was so handsome - with his beard which was quite unusual in Leitrim at that time. We were very impressed at his lovely handwriting as he filled up pages in a hard-back workbook. He showed us how to do some letters of the Greek alphabet and read our school stories.
Our father, Tom Mahon (Pat's uncle) and our mother, Peggy, loved him and often spoke fondly the time he spent with them on his visit to Ireland.

I´m Pat´s first cousin, his Mom( Aunt Rose) and my Mom(Teresa O´keefe were sisters. I told Liz, that the way I want to remember Pat, is the first time my Wife met him. She took one look at him and turned to me and said, well I guess I didn´t get the pick of the litter. He was movie star handsome. God Bless him! Cousin Joe O´Keefe
