PAUL BOURQUIN Obituary

BOURQUIN--Paul A., 91. Lifetime Westchester resident Paul A. Bourquin died New Year's Day at his home in Pleasantville, NY. During World War II, he served with the Army Air Corps' 34th Bomb Group in England as an aircraft maintenance officer for B-17s and B-24s. He received a B.S. from Iowa State University and a M.S. from NYU, both in Mechanical Engineering. His entire professional career was spent at Wolff & Munier, Inc., where he started as a Mechanical Engineer and rose to Executive Vice President. He served as President of the NY Chapter of ASHRAE and chaired committees for ASME. He loved sailing, collecting historical maps, and woodworking. He was an Eagle Scout and enjoyed camping, hunting, and skiing. In his later years he was an active member of the Mt. Pleasant Historical Society and the Chappaqua Bridge Club, and a frequent volunteer at the Mt. Pleasant Public Library. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Ann, four children (Andrea, Phyllis, Paul D., and Amy), and 2 grandchildren (Mike and Anna). A memorial service is planned for a future date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Friends of the Mt. Pleasant Public Library, 350 Bedford Road, Pleasantville, NY 10570.
