Doctor Drago was my doctor in 2008 performing a mini face lift at Genesis Plastic Surgery Charlotte, NC. I thought he was a great doctor and pray he has now found peace.

I grew up in Woodlawn with Paul and went through both elementary school and high school with him. We played on many basketball teams together. What I remember most about Paul is how good-natured he was. Yes, he was intelligent and funny; but more importantly, he was not in the least mean-spirited. A lovely boy.

One more thing for the record. He once scored 80 (yes, eighty!) points in a basketball game in the Wood-lean Boys Club league. It was in 1977 or 1978. We were on the same team, the Cavaliers. It was awesome to watch.

May you rest in peace, Paul!

Uncle Paul was a beloved child of a Loving God.

He shepherded my family and I through our times of need, always following-up with us, always working to help us, and always sharing his wisdom. We are blessed to have breathed the same air as Uncle Paul, this human, all too human, prayer warrior.

Over the course of the last five years we spoke weekly, exchanging Bible passages and life´s triumphs and woes. We connected as two human beings who loved each other; a lesson for us all.

I know that Uncle Paul forged many connections with many people, and I am honored to say that I knew him as my Uncle, my friend, and one of the only people in my life I would consider an older brother.

Thank you, Uncle Paul, for being there for my family whenever we needed you.

Thank you, Uncle Paul, for your encouragement and support.

Thank you, Uncle Paul, for never giving up.

You were and will always be a beloved child of a Loving God, Uncle Paul, and now you will bask in His Love.

I love you, Uncle Paul.

Finally, draw your strength from the Lord and from his mighty power.
Put on the armor of God so that you may be able to stand firm against the tactics of the devil
For our struggle is not with flesh and blood but with the principalities, with the powers, with the world rulers of this present darkness, with the evil spirits in the heavens.
Therefore, put on the armor of God, that you may be able to resist on the evil day and, having done everything, to hold your ground.
So stand fast with your loins girded in truth, clothed with righteousness as a breastplate,
and your feet shod in readiness for the gospel of peace.
In all circumstances, hold faith as a shield, to quench all [the] flaming arrows of the evil one.
And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
Ephesians 6:10-17

Love, Elliott, Vanessa, John, and Freida

My dearest brother Paul,
You have always been my "go to" person who would always know exactly what to say and how to say it. I have always admired your ability to rise to the occasion of any challenge and to handle these challenges with dignity and brilliance. Your good deeds are plentiful; your spirit will live on in the way that you have touched so many people and helped them to reach their potential.
You have held a place in my heart since the day Dad brought you home from the hospital. You were the apple of Dad's eye and the cherub of Mom's heart. For me, you were the person who challenged all of us to be better in everything that we did. Your example did all of this for us and many others.
I will always admire and love you. Thank you for being who you are and sharing that person so intently with me for my entire life.
With all my love and respect for you,
Mariann, your sister
