PAUL PERKINS Obituary

PERKINS--Paul F.,

of North Andover, MA and Bristol, ME, and formerly of Hamilton, MA, died peacefully on November 6 at age 93. Brought up in Brookline, MA, he graduated from Pomfret School in 1941, from Harvard College in 1944 (Class of 1945) and Harvard Law School in 1948. As an Ensign in the United States Navy he saw action in the Pacific on the cruiser USS Alaska. He practiced law with the Boston law firm of Ropes & Gray for 48 years. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, the former Mary Warren McCagg; three children: Paul Perkins of Bath, ME; Augusta Perkins Stanislaw of Hamilton, MA; and Warren Perkins of Seattle, WA; his brother Roswell B. Perkins of New York City; eight grandchildren and a great-grandson.

Paul was a towering icon to me. He was my symbol of, and role model for, character. He was ative, passionate, responsible, loyal, humble, accomplished, soft-spoken and deep. I will miss him and always remember him as someone who could show me the way through difficult decisions and life choices.
