On March 4, 2011 I received the most painful news I could have received today. My dear Dr. T. and Dr. G. have fallen asleep in death. I can't even put words together of how I feel.
I worked as an Asst. mainly for Dr. T, from Jan.1983 to July 1987, when I got married. But I never forgot Dr. T and Dr. G.
I appreciated Dr. T's gentleness and kindness towards us the staff, and more importantly his patients. Dr. G. was always wanting to teach, and he did it well. He was a true Scholar. He showed me how to position the O-Ring when taking x-rays, so it did not kill the patients mouth. LOL
I continued to keep in touch with Dr. T.,for Dr's like him you never forget.
I know his family must be in pain for their loss and emptiness, but what wealth of memories they have. For they were his life. He ALWAYS spoke of BOth his sons to our patients. ALways. So he was proud of them when young and I know he was proud of them in their adult yrs.
My heart is heavy, but my faith in the resurrection makes me find some comfort.
I will miss calling and talking with Dr.T., but he is now resting.

I am so very sorry, and shocked, to learn of Dr. Tannenbaum's passing. I was a patient for many years. His entrance into an examination room invariably brought a palpable gust of vitality with it, fueled not only by his own pleasure in the day, but by his zeal to meet the professional challenges and intricacies that particular patient was about to present. My thoughts are with his family and also with the capable and kind staff who shared his dedication.

Dr. Tannenbaum was the only one who could help me after some botch up gum surgery. I never had a problem again. He was very kind and gentle and was really a genius at his work. I will miss him. Jeanine Lissauer

I was a patient of Dr. Tannenbaum in recent years having come from Dr. Gottsegen as my initial periodontist. He was so caring and concerned. His quiet, almost shy demeanor belied his incredible expertise. I trusted him completely which is essential in my dentist. I will miss him very much and offer my deep condolences to his friends and family. Sheilah Goodman

I was a patient for over 35 years. Not only did he touch my teeth many times he also touched my life almost as often! I join the many others who will miss him. And my sincerest condolences to all those who loved him.

I was a patient of Dr. Tannenbaum for many years and only knew him in that capacity. But he seemed like such a sweet, lovely man, so caring and interested. I sent my whole family to him. My elderly mother was extremely particular when it came to dentists and doctors--but after seeing him the first time, she said "now there's a real doctor." We will miss him. We send our sincerest condolences to his family who must feel the loss terribly. Elizabeth Ackerman
