Peter Dully was a member of REED Academy's Board of Directors from the school's inception. He was a wonderful and generous donor and terrific board member who will be missed greatly by our school. We were graced with his service to our school and children. May god comfort his family in this time of loss and bring them peace in the days to come.

Sincerely,

Peter used to bring his son's skates to O'Shea Athletic Outfitters in River Edge in the 80s for me to sharpen. We would have some spirited discussions about the Rangers and Islanders. I always enjoyed those meetings during the hockey season.

Peter played a significant role in bringing together all his old schoolmates at our Tenafly High School 50th Reunion last fall. It sounded as if he'd been a walking medical miracle for the last several years, and it's a shame his borrowed time got cut so short. He'll be missed and remembered fondly.

Peter was a gentleman of the "OLD SCHOOL".I was fortunate to spend time with him both on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange as well as the moors of Scotland. No one cherished his family and friends more than Peter. He will be missed at Fasque and Glen Dye.

All of his classmates at Mackay, Stillman, and Tenafly Junior High and Tenafly High School will greatly miss Peter's presence. Peter managed to combine an extraordinarily successful career with a long and happy marriage as devoted husband and father. It was a pleasure joining up with him at our 50th last October and we had looked forward to seeing him next year in Asheville. We all remember you in our hearts.

I went to high school with Peter and had not seen him in 50 years until our recent reunion. He hadn't changed. Still a great guy who was a joy to be around. My condolences to Pete's family.

June 29, 2010

I met Peter for the first time in first grade at Mackay School in Tenafly. We graduated from Tenafly High School together in 1959. It was a pleasure to see Pete again at our Fiftieth Reunion in October after long years of separation. He seemed very well only eight months ago. I am shocked he left us so suddenly. My heart goes out to his family and friends. I know he will be missed.

Peter was a great gentleman, fun loving and kind. He was highly respected by both his colleagues and competitors on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange. He was a great broker and a man with great integrity. Above all he was a good friend. I am so sad to hear that he is gone, he will be missed.

While we did not know Mr. Dully personally, we know his son, Peter. Mr. Dully must have been a wonderful man and a good example because his son is the best, most caring person and we love him dearly. He has been a good friend to our son, Bob, and Pete is like a son to us. We send our prayers and condolences to the whole family.
