I have many fond memories of your Dad.
At 16 yrs old, I was fortunate to be offered a Summer Job working for Peter Sr. I was excited for the opportunity. It was a wonderful learning environment , as well as a chance to experience first hand , the kind, witty, intelligent and generous person Peter Sr. was.
I can still remember vividly how my Dad Milton,( with his sparkling dark eyes and great smile) spoke about Lucky Pierre. That was the nickname he gave to Peter in such a warm , positive way.

Ellen I was so sad to hear of the death of your dear Peter.Every Valentines day I remember your wedding and my daughter's birthday .It was quite a day for all of us. I am so sorry. Betty

My brother Joel and I were deeply saddened to hear about Peter's passing.We were privileged to have known him since we were children and heard our parents speak of him in such a positive light.We then learned first hand through our personal and business experiences with him, what a unique and outstanding individual he was-- and how he touched the lives of those whom he came in contact.
Peter will not be forgotten...

The first dinner the four of us had together was also our first meeting at Ernest & Werner in Orange NJ, we loved that Peter and you visited us at PGA NATL< for seven winters bacause Peter was happy to see Willie and you together as good friends and enjoy himself ,as we did. Peter was fun, and gracious all the time We loved him.

The end of a legacy. Peter Jakobson along with my uncle and dad Max and Howard Engelman,go back a long way in laying the groundwork for what is core of Greenwich Village real estate as it is today.
William and I extend our condolences to his family,especially Tom and Peter Jr., his beloved sister Helen, and his niece Nancy Kautz.
