Phyllis was my favorite comedian of all time. She inspired me to laugh and not dwell on the negative. She was a true friend,and I loved her. I remember when she entertained a college crowd at Wayne State College in Nebraska. I was in my Masters study at the time. I sent her a bouquet of flowers before her show and she was forever greatful,she been sent me a thakyou note. "What a trooper!"

I just watched one of her and Bob Hope's movies... Boy, Did I Get a Wrong Number!...I grew up with such wonderful Comediennes as Ms. Diller, who truly was an angel. Her travel with the U.S.O. was an act of heroism in such a time...Miss her candidness and infectious laughter...Rest In Peace...See you on your return debut...

I absolutely adored Phyllis. Because of her, I found worth in my life; that I wasn't as a doormat and that my opinons mattered. I dressed as her for a skit at a bowling banquet

What can be said in a few words to say how you feel about this wonderful lady? I never had the honor of meeting her, but oh how I admired her. As I was growing up, I had very little joy in my life, but when I could watch Ms. D, without knowing it, she mad me smile, and brought me so much joy. I will forever be grateful to her for all the times she made me smile. I do want to say to her family, I am so sorry for your loss, and I do send my thoughts and prayers your way. Thank you for all the sacrifices you had to make so she could bring happiness to so many people. I will never forget her, she has indeed touched my life and made me smile more times than I can remember.

As a small girl I remember hearing my mother laugh a laugh I didn't hear often. as a grown up i understand now what she was laughing at.Phyllis Diller and Carol Burnett. Thanks for letting me hear an unnatural side of my mom.I was suppose to be in bed sleeping, but how, when my mom admitted peeing her pants with laughter. We lost one of the funniest women in the entertainment world. I also grew up watching Phyllis Diller, and was fortunate to see her live at a USO Show with Bob Hope in Tripoli, Libya (Wheelus AFB) where my dad was stationed in the early 1960's. RIP Phyllis.
