I knew Regina personally, as she was married to Arbit Blatas, who was related to us through his first wife Sylvia. Arbit and Regina even came to our house one night to see his art we had on our walls. I also had the pleasure of dining out with both of them in NYC. Regina and I were both alumnae of Hunter College and I saw her at some of our milestone reunions.

Dear Michael, We were saddened to learn of your mother's passing and extend our sincere condolences to you and your family. We have known Regina since 1964 following her marriage to Arbit Blatas, who had been a family friend. We saw them on several occasions at various art exhibitions and Hunter College reunions as well as sending a card for her August 30th birthdays. I believe we were introduced to you at Arbit's memorial service. It was a privilege to have known her and witness her talent. May her memory be an inspiration to all those whose lives she touched.
