Elizabeth and I join the chorus of all that mourn the loss, but celebrate the extraordinaily productive, imaginative, and entertaiining life of our dear friend, Dick. He was an inspiraton and upper to us all. We were all lucky to love, and be loved by, him. Sincerely, Michael & Elizabeth Galvin

My condolences. I enjoyed our time together with Bodman at Burning Tree very much and am saddened to hear of the passing of such a lively character. A great laugh and a great smile.

We are very saddened to hear about Richard's passing. My mother Waltraud also sends her sympathy and prayers to the family. My mother was the German Nanny to Richard in the early 1950's in Indianapolis and at the Fairbanks Winter home on the Indian River.
