I never met Richard in person, but his music collaboration with Brooke Lizotte on the Alisaz brought so much joy to so many online during the days of Covid separation. I will always remember these times, thanks Richard, thanks Brooke.

I was devastated when I heard about Richardo´s illness and passing! He was an incredible person whom I loved. As cousins and friends, I´ll always remember the fun times when we´d all get together!
His art and music always touched my heart and soul and I´m grateful to have some of his music.

I had the pleasure of being hired by Richard and his mother to manage the creative department at FRC. He taught me a lot, about how to honor my creative spirit. Spending time with Richard always left me thinking, inspired, questioning the "status quo". Encouraging me in both my professional and personal life.
I was proud to call Ricardo my friend.
I lost my husband a year ago. They used to get together over a shared love of music, playing all kinds of stringed instruments. I am sure they are putting together a new band creating a few more songs. Both talented spirits.
Rest in peace Ricardo- you were a beautiful human, and made a lasting impact on my life.

Richard always welcomed me with a HUGE smile into his barn or home for music and get-togethers throughout the years. I felt like a loved family member. We were ALL his family in our hearts. I hope we can all aspire to be more like Ricardo
