SCHEPARD--Richard. Richard Schepard passed away May 13, 2023 in Paris, France. Devoted husband of Michele, brother of Andrew and Debra, father of Mathieu and Erica; Gregory and Marion; Christopher and Camille; five grandchildren, beloved friend and gifted international attorney. Founding Partner, Bredin Prat, Paris. Assistant General Counsel U.S. Department of Commerce 1977-1979. Graduate of CCNY, NYU Law (first in class), Fulbright Scholar (Sorbonne). Dear Michele and Family,

I am shocked to find that Richard has passed away and I offer my condolences although I don't know you. Richard and I were in the class of 1956 together in Junior High School 115 and re-connected a few years ago online. We sometimes shared thoughts. As an adult he reminded me of the young teenager I knew.
