ROB BLUESTONE Obituary

BLUESTONE--Rob. The Board of Governors and members of Rockrimmon Country Club are profoundly saddened by the passing of their beloved friend and esteemed member. Mr. Bluestone was a member of Rockrimmon for 34 years and was very active, serving in a variety of capacities, most recently as President and Board Member. Rob loved golf and gave his time generously serving as Chairman of the Westchester Golf Association as well as the Caddie Scholarship Association and the MGA Tournament and Rules Committee; we all admired his love of Rockrimmon and passion for golf and its traditions. We extend our heartfelt sympathy to all members of the Bluestone Family. William M. Aron, President

Dear Barbara, Cormac, and the Bluestone family,

We were so sorry to hear the sad news about Rob. We didn't know his illness was so serious. It's amazing that he was able to stay involved with work, friends and family.

We have many fond memories of Rob, going back to childhood. David remembers basketball and conversations about classic cars, especially the Morgan. Donna remembers discussions on politics and environment. He was always refined and thoughtful, rare qualities in this era. He was also conversant on many subjects and had a great enthusiasm for life.

He was a much admired cousin. We send our warmest wishes to all of you at this difficult time.

Love,

Donna and David

Dear Barbara, Cormac and the Bluestone Family,

My deepest condolences to all. We are incredibly saddened by Rob's passing.

We remember Rob's persistent optimism and twinkle in the eye. It came in a package both elegant and warm that always included kindness and sincerity. My mother enjoyed every moment of her recent conversation with him in which they shared memories of Uncle Don and the entire family. This included a serendipitous encounter on 6th Avenue, where Rob jumped in the car and shared the latest news. We will treasure these memories.

All of us will miss Rob.

With love,

Diana, David, Andrew and Alexandra Milich and Aunt Jane Goodman
