I am saddened to hear this news iof Bob. I had hoped to have more time with him and to learn more of his life. As it was, his father Charles was one of the great influences for my life and development, as little as I really new of him growing up.
I hope his children and wives will find comfort and strength. I look forward to times we may get to know one another better.
I regret I cannot come to the memorial, (inescapable commitments.) I will increase, in his honor, my donation to the Academy of Poets.
