I will always remember Bob fondly as a mentor and connector of people. I met him at a conference and told him I was a new General Counsel in the retail space and he offered to connect me to other retailer general counsels as well as people in retail trade organizations. He not only introduced me to others at the conference, but followed up afterwards without a reminder by generously connecting me to many other people in his network. I will be forever grateful for his kindness. He will be greatly missed. My sympathy to his family.

Bob was a terrific person who went out of his way to mentor and help others. We spent many hours talking about how lawyers could be a force for good in the world and how we could do practical things to help the profession along that path. My condolences to Elizabeth and family and know that Bob was a true force for good in the world.

Bob was my mentor for 8 years from 1989 - 1996. His caring, good humor, professionalism, warmth, teaching and leadership are no less vivid as if they occurred yesterday. Though we lost frequent contact, he would always send his regards. Heartfelt condolences to Elizabeth and the Bostrom family.

A loyal friend and chess partner. A long haired hippy at one time who would order 7 plain cheeseburgers at McDonalds and eat every one. He loved soul music and his green Firebird and his dog Thor. He was a winner while being compassionate on the way. To all of his family please accept our deepest sympathies on your loss. I will never forget our friendship. Im crying.

Bob was tremendously generous with his time and talent -- graciously mentoring me and many others and always willing to share his knowledge by speaking boldly at conferences about his professional experience and the critical importance of ethics in the law. I will miss his kindness and leadership.

How lucky we were to call Bob our friend. what a gentle soul, and outstanding man of many accomplishments. Foremost, his love of his family and devoted wife, Elizabeth. All who knew him were graced by his brilliance, love, humor and caring. God broke the mold when he made Bob Bostrom! We are here when you need us. Our prayers for all the family now and evermore. Bob and I went to high school together in our home town of New Britain, Ct. We were on the soccer and track teams together. I remember Bob throwing the javelin a mile and practicing after everyone else had gone home.

Back then, he stood out in two great ways: he was always the top student, and he could always be seen.........and heard......laughing with friends. Bob's gifts never changed. To no one's surprise, he went on to a brilliant career in the legal world and, more importantly, he never lost his passion for enjoying his time with others, laughing and lighting up any room with his bigger than life smile.

When he married Elizabeth over 40 years ago, family became his passion. Recently, my wife Kathryn and I had the pleasure of attending Bob and Elizabeth's daughter's wedding. The wedding reception captured Bob and his family at its finest and is how we will always remember him. Love, laughter and warmth aplenty. Bob so proud and happy as a father, grandfather and husband. Family and friends telling each other funny stories and loving their time together.

Bobby, you will be missed by many.

Bob was an exception man, husband, father, grandfather, son, sibling, and friend. He left his immeasurable mark on those far and wide, and truly one of the really good ones who is gone far too soon but will never be forgotten. Our families' relationship spans 5 generations and Bob was such an important part of all of our lives. For Elizabeth, the kids, and those adorable grandchildren we will be there always to ease the pain, quietly support, tell the stories, and reminisce about the man with the huge heart, soul, and smile. We miss you so very much, Big Bob
