Robert Allen Kamins

Robert Allen Kamins, 68, of Short Hills, NJ and Palm Beach Gardens, FL passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021. Born in New York, Robert grew up in Hewlett Harbor, Long Island, and attended Boston University. He began his career at Fehr Brothers in New York City and eventually began his own business, Altair Partners, LP. in New Jersey. Robert moved his family to Short Hills 30 years ago and was a valued member of the community. Robert was the beloved husband of Ruth Anne Kamins for forty years, loving father of Alexander and Michael Kamins, cherished son of Barbara and the late S. Peter Kamins, and brother of Susan Scholsohn (Richard). A funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Temple B'nai Jeshurun, 1025 S. Orange Ave., Short Hills, NJ. Entombment to follow at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert's memory to the American Heart Association.
